Matt Nejad DDS

Dr. Nejad graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry with recognition for a record-setting amount of fixed prosthodontic procedures completed. He began teaching as the youngest clinical faculty at USC, and currently teaches the Morphology, Function, & Esthetics course with his mentor Pascal Magne. His training under Pascal Magne, as well as research and dedication to adhesive and biomimetic dentistry literature, have made him an expert on these topics. He has been providing continued education hands-on training courses in Biomimetic Dentistry since 2012 and has presented at numerous conferences by invitation. Dr. Nejad conducts research in adhesive and Biomimetic dentistry, while also running a successful private practice in Beverly Hills, CA.

A unique educational experience and expert mentorship have helped Dr. Nejad rise as an educator in academics and continued education in Biomimetic and Esthetic Dentistry. A dedicated USC clinical and pre-clinical faculty, he has most recently focused his efforts to help establish the new Dental Morphology, Function, & Esthetics course led by Dr. Pascal Magne. This course is the most advanced and unique dental morphology course of any dental school in the nation.


 

David S. Alleman DDS

Dr. Alleman has been practicing dentistry for 32 years since his graduation from the University of the Pacific in 1978. The first three were in the US Navy and the last 29 in Utah. In 1995 he started studying adhesive dentistry with Dr. Ray Bertolotti. In 1999 he started studying with Dr. John Kois. These two mentors guided him through a 10 year/10,000 hour review of the literature on which advanced adhesive (Biomimetic) dentistry is based. Other mentors and collaborators are Dr. Gary Unterbrink, Dr. Didier Dietschi, Dr. Pascal Magne and Dr. Geoff Knight.

He is a member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry & The International Association for Dental Research. He has published articles on advanced adhesive techniques that focus on reducing stress, increasing long-term bond durability and tooth conservation. He currently mentors over 200 dentists nationwide in his practice based research group.
